Ingredients

  • Onion½ cup sweet onion (120 ml)
  • Celery¼ cup minced celery (60 ml)
  • Garlic1 Tbsp minced garlic (15 ml)
  • Ginger1 tsp crushed minced ginger (5 ml)
  • Pepper1 tsp black pepper (5 ml)
  • Saltsalt (2 g)
  • Seasoning Salt1 tsp seasoning salt (5 ml)
  • Tomato Paste¾ cup tomato paste (180 ml)
  • Peach Nectar½ cup peach nectar (120 ml)
  • Peach½ cup grated peaches (120 ml)
  • Soy Sauce¼ cup low-sodium soy (60 ml)
  • Kitchen Pepper1 tsp kitchen pepper (5 ml)
  • Brown Sugar½ cup light brown sugar (120 ml)
  • Brown Mustard¼ cup brown mustard (60 ml)
  • Vegetable Oil2 Tbsp oil (30 ml)
  • Paprika1 tsp sweet paprika (5 ml)

Method

  1. Pour to the lines in order (bottom → top): Onion, Celery, Garlic, Ginger, Pepper, Seasoning Salt, Tomato Paste, Peach Nectar, Peach, Soy Sauce, Kitchen Pepper, Brown Sugar, Brown Mustard, Vegetable Oil, Paprika.
  2. Add: Pepper, Salt.
  3. Cap the jar and shake until combined.
  4. Pour into a cold pan and bring to a gentle simmer. The jar stays off the stove — cool leftovers to warm-to-touch before they go back in the glass.
