Ratio by volume: Garlic 5 ml, Dijon Mustard 10 ml, Red Wine Vinegar 10 ml, Salt 1 ml, Pepper 1 ml, Vegetable Oil 30 ml

Ingredients

  • Garlic1 large garlic clove, crushed/chopped (~1 tsp)
  • Dijon Mustard2 tsp Dijon (10 ml)
  • Red Wine Vinegar2 tsp red wine vinegar (10 ml)
  • Salt⅛ tsp salt (0.62 ml)
  • Pepper¼ tsp black pepper (1.25 ml)
  • Vegetable Oil2 tbsp peanut, canola, or virgin olive oil (30 ml)

Method

  1. Pour to the lines in order (bottom → top): Garlic, Dijon Mustard, Red Wine Vinegar, Salt, Pepper, Vegetable Oil.
  2. Add finishing notes: Salt, Pepper.
  3. Cap the jar and shake until emulsified.
