Ingredients

  • Celery½ cup chopped celery (120 ml)
  • Carrot⅓ cup chopped peeled carrot (80 ml)
  • Ginger⅓ cup chopped peeled fresh ginger (80 ml)
  • Ketchup⅓ cup ketchup (80 ml)
  • Onion¼ cup chopped white onion (60 ml)
  • Soy Sauce¼ cup soy sauce (60 ml)
  • Rice Vinegar¼ cup unseasoned rice vinegar (60 ml)
  • Mayo2 tbsp mayonnaise (Kewpie) (30 ml)
  • Canola Oil2 tbsp canola oil (30 ml)
  • Sesame Oil2 tbsp toasted sesame oil (30 ml)
  • Salt½ tsp kosher salt (2.5 ml)

Method

  1. This sauce needs a blender — the jar is for storing it, not making it.
  2. Combine measured ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust salt and acid.
