Ratio by volume: Kecap Manis 240 ml, Water 15 ml, Lime Juice 30 ml

Ingredients

  • Kecap Manis1 cup (250 mL) kecap manis
  • Water1 Tbsp water (15 ml)
  • Bird's Eye Chile2 red bird’s-eye chillies (or 1 red chilli), sliced
  • Green Chili1 green chilli, sliced
  • Shallot1 small French shallot (or 2 Asian shallots), thinly sliced
  • Garlic1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
  • Lime Juice2 Tbsp lime juice (30 ml)
  • Cherry Tomato4 cherry tomatoes, diced

Method

  1. Pour to the lines in order (bottom → top): Kecap Manis, Water, Lime Juice.
  2. Add finishing notes: Kecap Manis, Bird's Eye Chile, Green Chili, Shallot, Garlic, Cherry Tomato.
  3. Cap the jar and shake until emulsified.
