Ingredients
- Candlenut — 3 candlenuts or macadamias
- Shallot — 4 Asian shallots or 2 French shallots
- Garlic — 3 garlic cloves
- Lemongrass — ½ stalk lemongrass (tender white), chopped
- Turmeric — 1 Tbsp turmeric powder (15 ml)
- Coriander Seed — 1 tsp coriander powder (5 ml)
- Salt — 2 tsp salt (10 ml)
- Neutral Oil — 2 Tbsp neutral oil (half of the 4 Tbsp frying oil called for) (30 ml)
Method
- This sauce needs a blender — the jar is for storing it, not making it.
- Combine measured ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust salt and acid.
